Secondary Education Strategies was founded in 2006 by Dr. Creg E. Williams. Dr. Williams has served as the Superintendent of the St. Louis Public Schools, overseeing 38,000 students and 92 schools. Prior to coming to St. Louis, Dr. Williams served the School District of Philadelphia as Deputy Chief Academic Officer where he oversaw the secondary education system that served over 59,000 students in 58 schools. In addition, Dr. Williams spent over 15 years serving the Chicago Public Schools where he specialized in elementary and secondary education specializing in high school program development.

Secondary Education Strategies was established to provide support and guidance to school districts, educational management organizations, institutions of higher education, boards of education, and other education-focused organizations as they grapple to meet the growing needs of students, families, and government. Secondary Education Strategies recognizes the complexities of urban education and has developed a comprehensive set of services based upon those constraints and opportunities.

Secondary Education Strategies will provide short– and long-term professional services to organizations to support them in implementing proven and sustainable education reform.
